Work in Progress: A New Feature Film in Production

We are thrilled to announce that we have started production for a feature film that we’ve been working on for a while now! We were gearing to start in late March, but everything was put on hold when the first lockdown (which was also global) was announced midway through the month. We are so happy to be on set again, and are also ensuring we stick to local and international safety guidelines on workplace COVID-19 prevention for the film sector.

#HackUrCulture: A Pan-African Open Call

Credipple (a South African startup connecting clients with reliable creative and tech freelance practitioners and services) are collaborating with the Goethe Institut in Johannesburg for a really cool project! They are looking for young African creatives, as well as cultural and tech practitioners across Sub-Saharan Africa. The project is excited to connect with folk who are interested in designing innovative solutions for African GLAM and affiliated institutions (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums) engaging in the virtual space.

Our very own Dr. Njoki Ngumi will be doing a weekend Instagram takeover over the next two days (Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August 2020) on the page of our dear friends, the folks at the Conflictorium! The Conflictorium is a vanguard participatory museum situated in the city of Ahmedabad, India. Their work centers a deep and multidimensional understanding of conflict, and engaging culture and the arts in mapping and understanding of temporary and permanent grey areas.
