We are excited to share that ‘Tapi!, our 2020 short film project, will be screening at the NBO Film Festival as part of the Shorts Program! “Tapi!” is about a formative moment in the life of a young ritual healer, Jackson, one of the last surviving practitioners of a fictional healing ritual, “utapishi”. He faces off with local church movements who are determined to erase this practice one and for all, alongside its complex history and context.

The anthology feature film, titled The More Things Change (TMTC) has been in edits since the year began (you can watch some behind-the-scenes peeks into our production process here and here). While 2020 was a very challenging year in which to shoot, we were really grateful and blessed to work with many amazing people, and we’ve really been looking forward to releasing this new work!
