New Work: Feature Film Teaser Out Now!

Our newest work is almost ready! The anthology feature film, titled The More Things Change (TMTC) has been in edits since the year began (you can watch some behind-the-scenes peeks into our production process here and here). While 2020 was a very challenging year in which to shoot, we were really grateful and blessed to work with many amazing people, and we’ve really been looking forward to releasing this new work! Co-directed by Collective members Akati Khasiani and Mars Maasai, our upcoming film has been described as a slow burn, cerebral, dramatic thriller. It explores what happens when an ordinary girl takes on a powerful adversary at great personal cost. 

The More Things Change is proud to present leading talent Nyawara Ndambia as its star performer. Nyawara, an incredible actor who was an absolute joy to work with, was most recently seen in the highly acclaimed Kenyan drama Supa Modo. TMTC is also proud to feature several other Kenyan stage, TV and film actors of note. These include Melvin Alusa (Mission To Rescue, Crime and Justice, The First Grader, The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind), Bryan Ngatia (Too Early For Birds), Emmanuel Mugo (Sense8, Pillow Talk, This Is Life) and young luminary Stycie Waweru (Supa Modo, Just In Time, Lusala).
