Day 1 kicked off with a wonderful conversation between Kenyan political actors and luminaries, Martha Karua SC and Scheaffer Okore, where they discussed everything from the status of women in the Kenyan political space, to their hopes for the country's growing political space, their favourite music and so much more!

Our Njeri and Akati, alongside our SS day ones Coco Em and Miss Ray, went for our first international edition, which was held in collaboration with our partners the Prince Claus Fund, and their friends Mama Cash! This was just before the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has ravaged the world in ways that have affected us all.
