Return To Sender At The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC)!

We are thrilled to announce the unveiling of our art installation, Return to Sender, curated by Katerina Gregou, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) in collaboration with the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST). Originally developed for Documenta 15 in 2022, this project is a poignant commentary on the environmental impact of second-hand clothing waste in Africa.

We are excited to bring this thought-provoking work to Athens, where it will be on display at the SNFCC Esplanade from April 26 to September 30, 2023, free of charge to the public.

The installation will be accompanied by a video piece ‘Return To Sender - Delivery Details’ that explores the complicated situation of mostly second-hand textile waste in Kenya and Africa, through the viewpoints of different contributors and viewpoints. Delivery Details will play inside the installation. 

Return To Sender brought about many discussions whilst at Documenta 15, and we are thrilled to present it at the SNFCC, thanks to the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Throughout the exhibition, a number of educational and creative activities for all ages will also take place, framing the project in a broader context.
