Our good friends at Rotterdam's Het Nieuwe Instituut are having an open call for their 2020-2021 research fellowship! This year's focus is on the theme “Regeneration. New Institutional Practices”, inviting collectives to take current conditions of the body's burn-out and planetary exhaustion (their call themes for 2018 and 2019 respectively) as a point of departure to generate new ways to organize and act.

The Het Nieuwe Instituut is offering two research fellowship positions, running from October 2020 to March 2021, including a total budget of 20,000 euro. Collectives from all citizenships and places of residence are encouraged to apply.

We are also excited to announce that we, alongside another collective, other artists, and scholars, will be part of the international jury that will select the two winning collectives. We are looking forward to reflecting and thinking with our fellow jurors, and to being part of this process together.

Here’s some more information about the Het Nieuwe Instituut's open call. (The deadline is Friday, July 24th 2020!) Best wishes from all of us with your applications!
