A Phenomenal Strictly Silk!

The third edition of Strictly Silk was phenomenal! We are tremendously grateful to everyone who showed up and brought their own brand of magic to the night! We know that Strictly Silk is the amazing space it is because of all the people who show up to share joy and care, and we appreciate every one of you!

First we’d like to thank our supporting partners, RFSU and the Prince Claus Fund for their critical foundational support of the Strictly Silk program. Many thanks go to our brilliant DJ lineup of Ziggie, Shishi, DJBee and DJ IV for the electrifying mixes that kept us on the dancefloor, and to VJ Vajayjay for her brilliant visuals and motion art, lighting up the night. A special shout-out goes to Wendy, our sound engineer, Gloria for technical support and DJMissRay for always coming through for us!

Thanks to Lyra Aoko - our official photographer who captured all the wonderful memories made that night - and Natasha Ayoo who came on board to take video! We’re so grateful for their sharing their talent with us! We are grateful to our vendors who all came through with something to make the night even more beautiful: Ah_this (body painting), Chela (digital art), Essy Mosa (contemporary fashion), Gspot Kenya, (pleasure merchants), Ne’bya beauty (makeup), WLD Nailz (henna body art & glow-in-the-dark accessories). Delicious food and drinks were in plenty thanks to the sumptuous work of Black Barrels BBQ, Crumbl & Co, ImaGin, Kalunj kitchen & Grill and Linet’s Private Bar.

Thank you to Timeless Occasions for the lovely decor, PSAudio Visual for all our sound, screens and pyrotechnics! Shout out to our media partner ZUMI Kenya, to Uber Kenya for sharing a discount that allowed us to arrive in safety and comfort. A special thank you to Mookh for being a consistent partner,(shout out to Tina and Waceke!) and to our all-female security team for keeping us safe.
