NEW PROJECT: The Feminine and the Foreign, a 2020 collaborative project

We're really proud to be one of six British Council new Art new Audiences (nAnA) grant recipients with our 2020 project: The Feminine and the Foreign, commissioned by the 2020 edition of the London International Festival of Theater (London) and Infecting the City (Cape Town).

For this project, the Nest Collective will work with British and South African young activists working with feminist, queer and immigration movements aged 18-35 as film subjects, developing a series of interconnected films that will reach live and digital audiences through festival screenings and online dissemination, alongside wrap-around events such as talks and workshops which will further embed and deepen the project and the collective's reach in both cities.
